What we do

Stratos Industries is developing a hypersonic aircraft capable of connecting any two cities in the world in under two hours. The aircraft will carry 100 passengers and operate from existing airports. Our goal is to make ultra-fast, long-distance commercial travel a reality.

1

Mach 10

Reaching Mach 10 enables capabilities equivalent to first-stage rockets—but with the operational simplicity and reusability of a commercial aircraft.

2

Runway-to-runway

Runway-to-runway flight makes hypersonic travel practical and repeatable—no launch pads, no special infrastructure. It unlocks global access and seamless integration with today’s aviation systems.

3

100 passengers

A 100-passenger capacity unlocks airline-level unit economics, spreading costs across more seats and making hypersonic travel commercially viable.

4

Single-stage-to-orbit (SSO)

Groundwork for Single Stage to Orbit by combining runway launch, extreme speed, and advanced propulsion. With further optimization, it can bypass multistage rockets for direct, reusable space access.

Our values

The principles
that guide us

We operate with the same intensity and focus as NASA and Lockheed Martin’s Skunk Works during its “golden years”—when aircraft like the X-51 and the A-12 (precursor to the SR-71) were conceived, designed, and flown in under 18 months.

The principles that drove those breakthroughs—clear purpose, focus, rapid iteration, and a hands-on, elite team—are just as essential today. They’re at the heart of how we build at Stratos Industries.

"For decades, hypersonic flight felt like science fiction. But the technology, the talent, and the urgency have aligned—now is the moment. We believe this is not only possible, but inevitable—and we’re here to build it."
